Harris County ESD 11 Experience Coordinator Brian Piatkowski Wins Public Education Professional of the Year
Spring, Tx. March 3, 2026: The Texas Chapter of the Association of Public-Safety Officials International (APCO) has announced Harris County ESD 11’s Brian Piatkowski as their winner for Public Education Professional of the Year. This distinction is part of the group’s annual National Emergency Number Association Awards event held every spring.
“Brian uses his background as a paramedic to work tirelessly all year empowering and engaging with our community,” says Harris County ESD 11 CEO Jordan Anderson. “Brian teaches CPR classes, engages with the public at career fairs, and organizes events where people can tour ambulances learning about emergency medicine and what they can do to keep their families and neighbors safe. We are so pleased he is being recognized for his great work.”
